My apologies for not blogging for the past month, but we have been really busy, experiencing the best November since 1998!
December is now virtually full, except for maybe a couple of spaces on the 3rd and the 4th!
last count was 2476 people booked in over 19 days, so I doubt I'll be blogging again now until the new year!
New Year's Eve this year see the return of Shakes Soundz Disco, as well as a 4 course gourmet dinner, bingo, a quiz and lots of party games, I intend to make it the biggest and the best one yet!

- The Madagascan Gin Palace first opened it's doors in April 1995. The brain child of current owner Richard Hayman. The concept was to bring an exotic eating experience to Newbury, offering exciting and interesting food, in an atmosphere that reminded people of the places they enjoyed eating in whilst on holiday. The intention was not to be branded a Spanish restaurant or an Italian but to be ecclectic, offering dishes from around the world. This is also reflected in the mix of Latin, African and Continental music played in the background and the array of masks and artifacts that adorn the walls.
